Matt is responsible for overseeing all reactive and planned preventative maintenance visits that take place within our fire and security divisions.
As the head of our aftercare team, Matt’s role is to manage our experienced team of breakdown and service engineers to ensure we meet, and exceed, the requirements of our existing clients. This includes any breakdowns that may arise as per the client’s Service Level Agreement.
Matt completed his City & Guilds Level 3 in Security & Emergency Alarm Systems back in 2004. He then spent more than 15 years as an engineer across multiple disciplines and sectors within our industry. The knowledge and experience gained during this time has provided a superb foundation for Matt to draw on, allowing for a seamless transition into management.
Matt’s drive is to ensure ECS’s customer service level is of the highest standard. To achieve this, Matt has become an extremely effective communicator, whether this be with clients when attending review meetings, working with his engineering team, or with our office-based team of administrators, where he provides ongoing support.
Matt is currently working towards a CMI leadership and management qualification. At the weekends, he loves spending time with his partner and his young children. He is a lifelong football fan and enjoys taking part in the office golf club society, which meets once a month.
